David Black - Human Resource Manager

David has extensive Human Resource Management experience gained over almost 20 years working for small and large organisations such as Coles Myer, Spotless Services and Eastern Tree Service. After originally starting his career in retail management in Adelaide, David changed his career path to Human Resources and progressed through regional, state and national Human Resource Roles in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

David is very focused on developing organisational capability though people and ensuring that the HR plans and activities are closely aligned with business operational plans. Passionate and energetic David believes that people are the only real competitive advantage for an organisation, hence the need to be continually investing in people development.

David is currently completing a MBA (Majoring in HR) and has recently been awarded the qualifications of Graduate Diploma of Management and Graduate Certificate of Corporate Management. He is also a member of the Australia Human Resources Institute (CAHRI – Certified Professional).

Outside of work and study David enjoys watching his sons grow and develop into fine young men through their various sporting and recreational activities.
