Subcontractor Overview

At Urban Maintenance Systems Sub-Contractor and Supplier compliance management is the foundation of the risk mitigation strategy.

Urban Maintenance Systems deploys a web based sub-contractor management process to support our commercial & operational risk management programme. Commercial risk management is achieved by ensuring all sub-contractors have adequate and current insurance cover. Operational risk management is achieved by ensuring that all contractors meet the defined UMS OHSE requirements.

The web based compliance management system offers the following benefits for Urban Maintenance Systems’ customers:

• Online verification of Sub-Contractor licences and insurance compliance
• Real-time access (internet) for nominated customer staff for verification purposes
• Adaptation of the compliance criteria to include customer SLA requirements
• Customised reporting available real-time to check on compliance status
