Campbell Walker
Non-Executive Chair

Campbell works with the company’s management team in the areas of Business Development and Customer Relationship Management. He is actively involved with community-based activities such as Chair of the Melbourne Day Committee (Melbourne’s Birthday Celebrations), Chair of St Vincent’s Hospital Microsurgery Foundation (O’Brien Institute), as well as being a Director of the St Vincent Hospital Barbara Walker Centre for Pain Management. Campbell is Executive Chairman of the UMS Board and also Executive Chairman of Ultum Pty Ltd which specialises in the provision of building condition and compliance to property and facilities managers and building owners.

Demara Jackson
Chief Executive Officer

Demara joined UMS in January 2020 as Chief Executive Officer. Demara is an accomplished executive, who has held a number of senior positions in the petrochemical and engineering services industries. Prior to joining UMS, Demara’s most recent role was Honeywell (Building Solutions) Asia Pacific Sales General Manager. With extensive leadership experience, Demara understands the importance of engagement with both staff and customers, perfectly suiting the UMS environment.

Chief Financial Officer

Ian is an experienced, motivated and result focused CFO with an excellent track record of building, leading, and developing high performing teams, and successfully partnering with CEOs and Boards. Ian brings over 19 years’ CFO experience and knowledge in managing finance and IT functions across various industries, including property, manufacturing and retail.


Doug is a Human Resource Management professional, Executive and Leadership Coach, with extensive experience across a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, mining, retail, communications, utilities, service and fast-moving consumer goods. He has a successful track record in recruiting and developing high-calibre people and introducing performance management and learning and development processes to ensure the availability of a capable and committed human resource.


Peter Weston is an experienced company director and a lawyer by trade, but spent most of his executive career with the Royal Dutch Shell Group of Companies, both in Australia and internationally. Peter had various senior legal and commercial management roles with the Shell Group. He is a former director of the Fulton Hogan Group and is currently a director of WAMA Foundation Ltd.


Michel Masson is the inaugural CEO of Infrastructure Victoria, a position he was appointed to in December 2015. He was previously the CEO at Yarra Trams for 4 years and helped lead the development of Keolis Downer throughout Australia. He brings a good understanding of dealing with State and Local Governments across Australia and has over 20 years of experience in Logistics, Shipping, Infrastructure and Public Transport, having held senior roles in Finance, Operations and General Management in various countries.


Executive General Manager, Buildings and Grounds

With a diverse background in the management of local government parks and infrastructure services in both WA and Victoria, Mike joined UMS in 2006. Mike has held a number of senior management positions across a broad range of service areas including open space management, recreation facilities, building maintenance, civil infrastructure, and waste management. Mike has a Degree in Applied Science (Biology) and an Associate Diploma in Park Management (Recreation).


Tim is UMS’ leading expert in Graffiti Management. He commenced his position at UMS as a Graffiti Contract Manager in 2008 and has developed substantial experience in this field. He currently manages numerous mobile crews of graffiti removalists who specialise in the removal of graffiti for a multitude of clients, the largest being Metro Trains Melbourne, where the business maintains the station assets. Tim has considerable experience working with Local Government and private clients.


Alicia is an accomplished Human Resources practitioner with over 15 years’ HR experience. Before commencing with UMS, she worked in the security services, construction, oil and gas and trade services industries. With highly developed leadership and people management skills, Alicia has a passion for employee relations, industrial relations, safety leadership and organisational culture and engagement.

Alicia leads our human resources management (HR) and safety, environmental and quality assurance (SEQ) activities for the business. She is responsible for designing and delivering HR / SEQ strategies and initiatives that align with our business strategy. Her significant experience in HR and SEQ leadership roles within multi-site businesses lends to her capacity to guide UMS to be an employer of choice for our people and Safe Trusted Experts for our clients.
